Meeting the Guru

In 1958 Shree Vasant met Shree Gajanan Maharaj for the first time.

Then for the next 12 years Shree Vasant would perform his ‘Tapa and Sadhana’ (Spiritual Practices) under the guidance of Shree Gajanan Maharaj.

On December 13th, 1970, the Son of Man, Kalki Avatar Parama Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj uttered one Mantra and blessed Shree Vasant.

He gave Shree Vasant the following command:

“Carry Our blissful words to all peoples of the World.”

Next morning on the 14th the Son of Man gave another command to Shree Vasant:

“Write a book. It should be in English language. It should be scientific. Light is given”

The next month, the book ‘Grace Alone’ was completed and then published, explaining the message of Fivefold Path of Vedas – Yajnya, Daan, Tapa, Karma, Swadhaya. The first chapter of that book titled ‘Disgrace Abounding’ mentions how atmospheric pollution is destroying the world. It is interesting to note that in a book on spirituality, published in 1971, the first chapter is on pollution. This book is not simply a prophecy of doom, but also the solution is given.

Shree Gajanan Maharaj first commanded Shree Vasant to visit the four South Indian states and spread the message of Agnihotra and Fivefold Path. Then, he was asked to go to the United States. He left India on 20th June, 1972 for New York.
